Our next Technical webinar, to be delivered by Soumen Guha, Managing Director of Sustech Engineering, is the Role of Pipelines in Response to Climate Change.

Soumen will examine current sources of energy consumption and how much needs to be replaced by how soon to address climate change challenges. He will also cover total replacements trends for solar, wind with battery storage versus other forms of energy and replacements with ammonia, hydrogen and carbon capture.

This very informative webinar will also look at pipeline opportunities in replacement of oil and coal by new energy involving fluids and the opportunities for hydrogen, CO2 and water pipelines in the green ammonia industry.

In examining these matters, Soumen will also address the following:

•    challenges of each type of pipelines
•    how much in use as installed capacity of each
•    failure modes of each
•    hazards and safety
•    risks of investment
