Technical Webinar - Understanding the social licence to operate that enables our industry
Our industry is founded on and enabled by a broad social licence to operate, an unwritten acceptance of our work by our customers, communities and stakeholders. But how many in our industry understand how this social licence works and how it is won or lost? As we continue to innovate and prepare for potential new fuels in the future, join Professor Peta Ashworth to learn more about the Future Fuels CRC’s research on social licence and the new training package developed to operationalise it within businesses.
Professor Peta Ashworth is UQ Chair in Sustainable Energy Futures and has responsibility for the Master of Sustainable Energy (Management). Peta is also Director of the Andrew N Liveris Academy for Innovation and Leadership and is Chair of the Queensland government’s Hydrogen Experts Taskforce. Peta’s main research interest is how to deliver information to best effect and facilitating dialogue across a broad range of stakeholders around complex and contested issues.
