New Zealand Seminar, Golf and Dinner
The Tanami Gas Pipeline
The 2019 APGA New Zealand event will again feature the trifecta of a morning technical seminar, an afternoon of golf and rounded out by an informal dinner, where our guest speaker will be John Smith, the Chief Executive Officer of MPC Kinetic. John will provide a presentation on the Tanami Gas Pipeline and the challenges faced by MPC Kinetic when they constructed a pipeline in one of the most remote locations and environment on the planet during 2018.
The day will begin with a seminar that will include presentations from Denso Australia, Baker Hughes a GE Company, PGG Wrightson Turf - DuraVeg, First Gas and Mipela GeoSolutions. This seminar is open to everyone, not just attendees of one or both of the next events on the agenda: a golf day and a dinner with a guest speaker.
After the Seminar, enjoy some competitive golf at the scenic and challenging Ngamotu course which overlooks the islands from which it gets its name. It’s a great day with some par-three holes regarded as among the best in the country, as well as some large contoured greens designed to test your putting ability. Pit yourself against pipeliner colleagues in competing for the golf prizes including the winning team, longest drive and nearest to the pin for both men and women.
This event will be an ideal opportunity for Australian and New Zealand APGA members and guests to get together and catch up with each other.
