Brighter: a new initiative to move the needle on natural gas
The need for Australian industry to recognise, understand and address community perceptions has never been greater. Sarah Browne will provide insights into APPEA’s Brighter program, a major community advocacy effort to promote better awareness of the role and benefits of natural gas in the every-day lives of Australians.
As APPEA’s Director – Communications, Sarah has led the Brighter community and stakeholder engagement program since its inception in 2018. Sarah was previously a senior advisor to a number of Premiers and Ministers in both Western Australia and Victoria, including undertaking significant work in strategic policy development and integrated communications planning. Most recently, Sarah was Managing Director of the Strategic Communications group of FTI Consulting, a global consultancy specialising in public affairs campaigns.
