The APGA Interview - Wednesday 19 August
We’re back with the third interview in this excellent series and this month APGA CEO Steve Davies will be chatting with one of our industry’s young leaders, Jemena’s Jonathan Spink.
Steve is keen to explore several hot topics with Jonathan, including Jemena’s vision and northern development ambitions as well as community engagement, social licence and decarbonisation. They’ll also take a look at the steady erosion of trust in contracting, with disputes at the end of the contract period seemingly becoming an unwelcome norm.
Jonathan is the General Manager of Major Projects for Jemena, leading the company’s energy infrastructure developments in gas, electricity and contaminated site remediation. He started with Jemena in 2005 as a Graduate Engineer in the operations engineering team supporting gas transmission pipelines. Since then he has specialised in the delivery of gas transmission compressor station, pipeline and midstream processing plant projects and also been involved in the transmission powerline sector, managing the construction of a 70km powerline for Jemena’s construction sister company Zinfra. He has also worked for APA Group and Epic Energy during his career, returning to Jemena six years ago to deliver the Northern Gas Pipeline.
This promises to be an engaging conversation so secure your place now.
You can also send us your questions beforehand so that Steve can work them in to his brief. And that just might inspire further questions in The APGA Interview.
