The APGA Interview - Thursday 25 June
The second interview in the series has been scheduled.
APGA Chief Executive Officer Steve Davies is set to return to the interviewer's chair to quiz APA Group Executive Operations Darren Rogers about how the company is responding to COVID-19 and a number of other hot topics.
As Group Executive Operations, Darren is responsible for the safe operations, maintenance, asset management, and in-year revenue and cost responsibility of APA’s portfolio of transmission, power, networks and midstream infrastructure assets. This includes more than 15,000 kilometres of transmission pipelines, 750MW of solar and wind farms, gas storage, processing and distribution assets.
Darren joined APA Group in 2017 as General Manager Asset Management for Transmission before becoming Group Executive Transmission. Aside from his experience at APA, and more than 25 years’ experience across the energy value chain, Darren has performed senior executive roles in commercial, asset management and operations, leading large and complex divisions and across these companies. Before joining APA, Darren was General Manager Commercial at Arrow Energy and previously Chief Operating Officer of Acer Energy.
Darren is also the APA representative on APGA's Owners Committee. Steve is keen to ask him about upcoming projects, the potential for a gas-fired recovery and decarbonisation of the energy system.
It's set to be a packed agenda, so book your place now.
You can also send us your questions beforehand so that Steve can work them in to his brief. And that just might inspire further questions in The APGA Interview.
