The APGA Interview: Thursday 24 September
Join us in September for our fourth interview of the series where APGA CEO Steve Davies will catch up with Susan Jaques from Sage Consulting Solutions Pty Ltd to have a chat about volunteering, standards development and consulting in 2020.
Susan Jaques is an industry leader who likes to say that being self-employed is a hard way to make an easy living. In addition to enjoying the running of her own practice providing practical solutions for the management of risk, quality, and knowledge, she also volunteers on many industry committees. The list is long: she is the Chair of the Standards Australia Committee for the A S2885 suite, Chair of the Risk Engineering Body of Knowledge (REBoK) Committee, a member of the Risk Engineering Society committee, and is also on the Engineers Australia Project Engineering Working Group (PEWG). For the pipeline industry, she is on the APGA Pipeline Engineer Competency System Committee, has been involved in the YPF since its creation, participates on several Future Fuels CRC research project committees, has developed a wiki for sharing knowledge on AS 2885, and is a regular speaker at APGA events. Don’t ask her about endurance events: she’d love to talk about that, too.
This promises to be an engaging conversation so secure your place now.
You can also send us your questions beforehand so that Steve can work them in to his brief. And that just might inspire further questions in The APGA Interview.
