Australian Energy Week (AEW) is the annual meeting place for stakeholders of all levels from the entire energy value chain, from CEOs to analysts, energy traders to engineers. In 2021, AEW will be held from 24 to 27 May at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
With six different content streams, the agenda covers the full breadth of opportunities and challenges facing generators, networks, retailers, end users and policy makers during the energy transition. The content is designed to assist in better understanding of the interplay of various technological, policy and commercial drivers and to help future proof planning.
With every major energy company in attendance as well as policy makers and regulators from every state (and federal), AEW is the place to make connections, meet industry leaders and do business. Find out more.

Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines
The Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines Conference (TFAP), scheduled for 19-21 October 2021, draws on the legacy of two events previously organised by Rudi Denys (Universiteit Gent) and John Tiratsoo (Tiratsoo Technical) - the Pipeline Technology Conference and the Ageing Pipelines Conference.
Building on this legacy, TFAP is aimed at sharing knowledge and featuring the latest achievements relative to the assessment, use and maintenance of both ageing high-pressure (cross-country/offshore) transmission pipeline systems and ageing low-pressure distribution pipeline systems. This three-day conference will attract top researchers, engineers and decision-makers from pipeline research and academia.

The year 2020 started with difficult times in Australia, first with the widespread bush fires and then with the global pandemic. Both events have significant impacts on how we are do business and how we’re living. They also necessitate a change to how we manage process safety on a day to day basis. The workforce is strained with people unable to work for several reasons. We are interested to hear your lessons learned from dealing with these uncertain and disrupted times, in addition to other learnings you can share.
