Pipeline information for users
The Berwyndale to Wallumbilla Pipeline (BWP) is a bi-directional transmission pipeline in central Queensland. It is 112km in length and transports gas from the Berwyndale coal seam fields in the Bowen-Surat Basin to the Wallumbilla gas hub near Roma in Queensland.
The BWP is owned and operated by APA Group (who acquired it from AGL in 2010). When the pipeline was first commissioned in 2009 it could transport gas in only one direction, but was upgraded to enable bi-directional flow in 2015.
The BWP is a non-scheme pipeline under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules.
