Join us for the first of our 50th anniversary dinners in 2018.
We’re beginning our season of celebration in Sydney with a birthday dinner to commemorate the remarkable longevity of our association. Don’t miss the party, which will feature a few surprises and many reminders of achievements great and small over a half-century of activities across the nation.
Director Major Projects, WaterNSW
The Wentworth to Broken Hill (W2BH) Pipeline
One of Australia’s longest water pipelines, the 270km Wentworth to Broken Hill Pipeline (W2BH) will begin delivering water to the far west of NSW in December this year.
The construction site crosses interesting geology and unique communities that present a variety of technical, logistical and social challenges and opportunities.
With more than 20 years working in investment banking and infrastructure funds management and, more recently, water business management experience in the NSW Treasury, Water NSW Director of Major Projects Elli Baker is well-placed to lead this strategically important project. With the project on the fast track and Broken Hill without a sufficient permanent local water supply until the pipeline is in operation, this project is definitely worth hearing about.
