When John Flynn began his outback aerial mission, few would have imagined that his vision would become the Royal Flying Doctor Service which, almost 90 years later, is considered to be one of Australia’s most reputable charities.
RFDS CEO Martin Laverty will outline at the APGA Melbourne Dinner how the RFDS moves doctors and the injured and ill around country Australia and provides a range of services such as dentistry, eye care, hearing support, mental health services, and healthy living support to those who live or work in country Australia. These services are delivered from Australia’s almost invisible third largest airline. Join us on 22 June and find out about the wide-ranging work of the Flying Doctor and share some of the stories that have made it as Australian as Skippy and Vegemite.
